Hello, my name is Miche.
I enjoy sharing knowledge and learning new things. I’m nothing special but I work hard, and I hope one day I will make significant contributions. (Leaving that up for interpretation because I don't really know what that entails either.) I enjoy problem solving / discussing / listening / sharing ideas - yet I don't often get the opportunity to have this type of discourse due to the nature of the industry I work in. (See Job Stuff. lol)
I miss having substantial conversations - I want to start thinking critically again, resharpen my skills, and adapt to this community through making regular contributions (and learning all the rules ). I have a lot to learn but - but I hope I have something to offer as well.
I currently live in NYC, and I have a pet snake named Adelaide, I love her very much.
Job Stuff[edit]
Currently, I work at Pier59 Studios. I manage a team of about 10 people that work as like in house production assistants to big-wig fashion clients. I took it as a temp job 5 years ago.
And yet, here I am.

Before this job, I was coding & making educational / interactive books (Leapstart®) for LeapFrog. However we got bought out by VTech, and the entire team I was working with got laid off. I was young and trying to support myself, and eventually landed at a fashion photography studio... and kind of got stuck.
I love all science, however I'm especially inspired by mechanical engineering. One day, I hope to get a job that involves building robotics. I have a lot of work ahead of me to get to that point, but I try to live positively by this corny thing:
