I sincerely want to work through this issue. I am genuinely perplexed as to why you continue to state things such as the following:

What we are currently doing has become counter-productive. Therefore, I started this page in the hopes that you and I can have a place to work through this without cluttering a talk page or a project page. If there is a more appropriate or desired solution, please propose it.

Otherwise, here are some ground-rules we can both agree to follow (add your own if you can think of others that would help us or strike any you don't like):

Ground rules[edit]

  • We remain civil to each other
  • We respect the fact that the other person is participating here in good faith
  • The goal is discuss the nature of our disagreement
  • This space is only for the two of us, to work through this specific issue: the nature of our disagreement regarding Kulldorff, the GBD, and how it should be presented on Kulldorff's article page.
    • Because this is just for you and I, any consensus on content for Kulldorff's page reached here must be presented in Kulldorff's talk page for the other editors to consider.

Alexbrn's initial response to accept or decline this offer[edit]

@Alexbrn: That's a shame. I really do think that we could be more collaborative and less adversarial if we discussed our assumptions and the unknowns between us and we can't really do that on article talk pages or noticeboards.
I'll leave this up should you change your mind.

  • Do you think Michael does not want to point out that the GBD is fringe or controversial? If so, why do you think that?
