An old retired lady living in the Central Coast region of California. I joined Wikipedia because I have a love of government, and saw that there was a paucity of pages on the regional/provincial governments near where I live. Living on the Central Coast, I'm also an environmentalist and interested in all things related, especially locally! It's my hope I'll be able to add a small piece to the amazing body of knowledge that is already here on Wikipedia. I'm new at this though (and a little nervous!) so please be gentle if I make a mistake.
