Indie decides to tell the truth about the things she did on her holidays, instead telling a lie of attending a camp, however it blows up in Indie's face when her teacher makes the students orally present what they did over their school break and becomes worse when her peer asks her to attend a camping trip.
2	"How to Have Your Samosa and Eat It Too"	2 October 2009
Indie enters her Mother's recipe Samosa's into the food day project at school, to compete against Ram's "cone food". Having to share thier country's booth, both try to convince the student body. Meanwhile Marlon chooses a fake country of birth to represent his booth after he decides his origin's food is too boring.
3	"How to Get on Carlos Martinelli's Capital 'L' List, and Live"	9 October 2009
Carlos Martinelli attends the groups school and has an online website which features students being exposed. He chooses his victims after they do something, he does not agree with and puts them on his 'L' List. After Indie is added to the list, she tries to throw a party because she assumes it is the only way to get off the list.
4	"How to Trick Your Parents Into Treating You Like a Grown Up"	16 October 2009
After Indie is not allowed to watch a scary movie, she attempts to convince them otherwise, however all of her family believes she can't handle scary things, especially her Aunt who sends her a doll. However a sleep-deprived Indie starts to believe her doll is evil after a series of events.
5	"How to Strike a Balance"	23 October 2009
Indie and Abi each attempt to win the competition between their mothers about who's daughter is better, so they would be proud, however they start to realize winning isn't everything and begin to put a plan together for the purpose of ending the contest without either mother losing.
6	"How to Be a Mehta"	30 October 2009
After Indie receives an 'F' on her assignment, she confronts her siblings and is advised to lie, however she comes out with the truth to her mother and father and is heavily criticized. Her parents then stage a lie that Indie will have to attend a boarding school in India, much to Indie's dismay.
7	"How to Make a Comeback"	6 November 2009
With Indie's father always playing quiz games at the table, she assumes her, Marlon and Abi can represent their high-school and win the quiz-bowl competition. However after her father's becomes coach of the team and training becomes unbearable, they abandon their coach, who then becomes coach of the rival team.
8	"How to be Ridonkulous"	13 November 2009
Indie attempts to persuade her parents into buying a mobile phone for herself, however she only wants one, so she can win concert tickets from a radio station and Marlon goes into business selling phones to receive money fast and also asks for Abi's help to improve his salesmen skills

Indie's wishes she has a dog, however the only pet her mother and father believe she is responsible enough for is a turtle. Indie begins to over dramatise the care she takes for the reptile and AJ must compete in a series of challenges against Mike, in order to join a elite secret geek society.

Indie attempts to win a business battle between her and Ruby, however she begins to stretch the truth to get ahead. Meanwhile, Abi is desperate to avoid working at her parents restaurant today, so she enlists the help of friend Marlon to make herself receive a after-school detention.

Indie decides to compete in a dance contest to prove her South-Asian cred to Ruby and her peers, needing help Indie confronts her siblings, however she is surprised when she finds out her mother knows how to pull-off dance moves of her own and Marlon is struggling with his pants which are too tight.

Indies reputation is damaged after a incident at school concerning a squeaky-voice new student. By participating in numerous charity activities, she believes it may make her peers think she is a nice person. However an time table clash with her charitable events causes chaos in Indie's life. Meanwhile Carlos gives a job for Marlon and Abi to do.

After a new neighbour Chad moves in next door to Indie, she develops a crush for him, She then goes to extraordinary lengths to impress him, including sending a fruit basket and by losing Abi's retainer down the toilet, Marlon prompts an major "prank war" between them, which causes undesired effects.

With extreme heat conditions, Indie and Abi decide for their own benefit to accept an invitation from Ruby for a sleepover party in her fully air-conditioned bedroom, however the two being tired, wish to sleep, however with Ruby their, it's impossible. Meanwhile, Marlon and John Lu create a plan to invade the all-girl party.

Indie needs help from her sister Chandra about how to gain the self-confidence to sneak out of the house after being invited to a high school party where only the most popular in school attend. Meanwhile, Abi glasses have broke and she requires Marlon to be her "eyes" for the rest of the day.

Indie's cousin from India, bollywood star Baldev, arrives at the Mehta house and Indie's mother creates an agreement that if Indie looks after Baldev, she can travel to India. Meanwhile, Abi becomes the new mascot for her parents restaurant which is a hotdog, however she soon finds herself stuck inside.

At school, Indie and her friends must complete an assignment which is learning the ups and downs of being a parent. To simulate this situation, they are put in pairs and given an egg. Abi and Marlon are put together which causes numerous problems and Indie avoids the assignment to instead take care of new student, Toad Tash.

After her cousin Ruby becomes a over-night celebrity by appearing on a local television show, Indie tries to out-do and decides to create a hidden-camera video of her family. Meanwhile, Abi has to deal with her parents restaurant's new employee, Indies sister Chandra and her lazy ways.

With mothball season starting, Indie does everything to avoid Carlos, so he does not discover her foul scent and place Indie on his "L" list, however after both are placed in detention, Carlos misinterprets the situation and forces Indie to join his group. Meanwhile, Abi becomes the new school hall monitor.

A desperate Indie and her peers set up a plan to save their favorite teacher Ms. Nunes from losing her job. Indie agrees to a deal which if the worst student in Ms.Nunes science class earns first place in the science fair, she can keep her job. Being into the spirit of Valentine's Day, Indie decides to admit her feelings for her next door neighbour Chad and after numerous rejections, self-confessed geeks AJ and Chuck create a plan to rally against the thought of Valentine's Day, however nothing goes to plan and AJ finds himself lost for words.

Indie tries to prove her strength ability to her mother in her karate class, however she finds it difficult since Chad Tash constantly distracts and the enrolment of her mother in the class. Meanwhile, Marlon must deal with numerous decisions and situations without the assistance of Abi, who usually gives Marlon the right advice for handling problems.

Indie, AJ and Chandra all go to battle over which person can give their mother the best present for her birthday. Meanwhile, Marlon attempts to create and use a photo of himself on a life sized cardboard model, so he may get out of the punishment of detention, however not everything goes to plan

Indie tries to find something that is very important to herself for an time capsule also trying to escape one of her fathers world cup of cricket classes. Meanwhile, AJ becomes the official "IT guy" for coach Wexler, however with numerous computer related problems, AJ finds it difficult to fix them.
