Work and Career

I joined Wikimedia UK in October 2015 as Chief Executive. I drive the charity's strategic and organisational development, governance and advocacy activities, and support the Senior Management Team in their work. I have worked in the cultural, voluntary and public sectors for over two decades, with past experience including senior roles at Arts Council England, British Refugee Council and the House of Lords. Immediately prior to joining Wikimedia UK I was Director and Chief Executive of the national literature charity Apples and Snakes, England's leading organisation for performance poetry and spoken word. I am on the British Library Advisory Council and am a Trustee of The Audience Agency and Visible Theatre.
