Hi! This is a project I'm contributing to for my Sociology of Poverty Course at UC Berkeley.

For this project I will work on a new "The Juvenilization of Poverty"article. Please note that this will be distinct from the Child Poverty article in that it will expand an understanding of children living in poverty to a systematic approach to explaining how both social and economic costs are disproportionally passed on to children and their parents, thus predicting that children will suffer disproportionally from poverty. The various causes and features of poverty will be examined, as will the risk that children who grow up impoverished will experience poverty later in life due to cyclical factors like poor health, nutrition, and education. A working draft of this article is currently residing in my Sandbox
