Warren Williams[edit]

Warren Williams is an artist living and working in South Wales. Winner of the student prize at the Welsh Artist of the Year competition 2002, first prize winner of Y Galleri Caerffili Open Exhibition, and the Western Mail's Most Magnificent artist choice for 2006, he has managed to bridge the difficult gap between the "naval gazing days of art college" and the professional reality of a "practising, living, breathing" atist.

Early Years[edit]

Born in 1975 at Neath General Hospital, he went to Crynallt Nursery, then Crynallt Infants, and then Crynallt Junior School, before going onto Cefn Saeson Comprehensive School. Though the school was named as such, it didn't offer much in the way of a comprehensive education, and he left, without incident or qualifications, at the age of 16.

Quite a few of the teachers taught both his parents when they had been in school,
