John Siau is VP and Director of Engineering for Benchmark Media Systems, Inc. He received a BS in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, and has worked as an Electrical Engineer since 1980. He is a member of the Audio Engineering Society. John has extensive experience in the design of analog and digital circuits and systems for audio and video. John holds two US patents relating to video image stabilization.

John is the principle designer of many professional audio products including:

  • Microphone preamplifiers
  • Audio A/D and D/A converters
  • Audio distribution amplifiers
  • Headphone amplifiers
  • Audio power amplifiers

John writes a regular series of audio application notes for Benchmark Media Systems[1]
