What it is

NoteFlight is a free online tool for use when viewing and editing music on the web. To compose music you must first sign up. If you type 'C' a C note is played. Also, you can click where the note you want to place should be. With practice, you can also learn many shortcuts and be able to write songs very quickly.

Once you start composing, you can add more instruments, the default is Piano. You can add Violin, Cello, Guitar, Bass, and many more.

Special Features

You can, for only $50 a year, get access to premium instruments and unlimited scores.

Also, you can teach people how to compose.

You can change the types of note-heads, you can have, triangles, lines, ovals, or squares.

It can start to get a little confusing. But, if you have enough time. You can write very complicated songs. Such as Replay or Fireflies
