- 1978 - Alice.[1]
- November 16, 1991 - Several houses and seaweed farms in Tarawa were damaged, as Tropical Cyclone Tia impacted the island nation.[2]
- March 8 - 11, 2015 - As the precursor tropical depressions to Severe Tropical Cyclone Pam and Tropical Storm Bavi developed, they impacted Tarawa and the islands of Western Kiribati with heavy rain, strong winds and swell. These severe conditions caused inundation, erosion, and major deterioration to food crops, water sources, homes and infrastructure[3]
- January 2016 - Pali
- January 4, 2019 - A tropical depression caused flooding in Western Kiribati, with extensive damage reported in Tamana.[4]
- December 25 - 27, 2019 - Heavy rain and strong winds were observed in Western and Southern Kiribati as Tropical Cyclone Sarai developed.[5]
- January 14 - 18, 2020 - Heavy rain and strong winds were observed in Western Kiribati, as Tropical Disturbance 04F developed into Severe Tropical Cyclone Tino.[5]
- February 13 - 16, 2020 - Tropical Depression 07F and the precursor system to Severe Tropical Cyclone Wasi impacted Southern Kiribati, where they caused severe damage to houses, Maneaba's, food crops and the death of a person.[5]
