V1 compared to V2

Differences in text

• "... and leads the team." inserted in front of "... but has been 'unbalanced' by the incident..." (2nd 1/2 of the 3rd ¶)

• 5th reference replaced "West Coast Avengers #51-52" with "West Coast Avengers #51-52 (vol. 2, Mid-Nov. - Dec. 1989)"
• 8th reference replaced "Avengers Forever #1 - 12 (1998 - 2000)" with "Avengers Forever #1 - 12 (1998 - 2000)"

Differences in text

• 1st ¶ split at the end of the 1st and 2nd sentences, creating 3 ¶s
• New 2nd ¶ expanded after the 1st sentence with:

Adopting the name, the Vision is convinced by the Avengers to turn against Ultron and becomes a member of the team. Initially there is a belief that the Vision's body has been created from that of the original Human Torch, but this is later proved to be false when the Human Torch returns. The time lord Immortus later uses the power of the Forever Crystal to split the original Human Torch into two separate entities: one remains the original Torch while the other is rebuilt as the Vision by Ultron.

• "The Vision is convinced by the Avengers to turn against Ultron and becomes a member of the team." removed from the new 3rd ¶
• "Aside from the Vision's partnership with the Scarlet Witch, he has been involved in several other significant events that have impacted on the Avengers." added to the end of new 3rd ¶

Upshot

Actually was able to cut this one sort: the July 25th edit of the section is an exact (text and references) to the July 24th version.

This is a side issue but important none the less.

All versions of Asgardian's edits do the following:

• Attribution of the penciller has been removed
• The note — "Cover inker Buscema per Grand Comics Database: The Avengers #57, or George Klein per The Official Marvel Index to The Avengers #3 (Oct. 1987)" — concerning attribution of the inker of the image has been similarly been removed
