I am a volunteer 'Industrial Heritage Interpreter' with Birmingham Thinktank.

Before retiring, I was employed by BT on Microwave Radio, Broadcast TV and Radio, and was, for a while until the post was declared redundant, Manager at Birmingham Radio Tower, YBMR. I am currently a member of the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust Clinical IT Committee and Clinical Research Ambassador Group. I also volunteer at Bletchley Park. I am a Trustee on the Cat Welfare Trust , the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy's own charity.

I am currently studying for an 'Open' degree with the Open University and am currently studying 'Infectious Diseases and Public Health'.

My current qualifications are:

Full Technological Certificate in Telecommunication Technicians (CGLI)

Full Radio Amateur License (G6HSR)

Certificates in Natural Science, Mathematics and Physics (Open University)
