Vatnsdæla saga (listen^ⓘ) is one of the sagas of Icelanders. It is essentially a family chronicle, probably written just after the middle of the thirteenth century. The events in the Saga take place in the Vatnsdal area in northwestern Iceland.

Synopsis[edit]

Vatnsdæla saga follows the history of a family originally from Norway. A man named Þorsteinn Ketillsson
