Article for Main Project[edit]

1. The Struggle for Existence

1. Since my first exposure to evolution in high school, I have been intrigued by the study, progress, and social acceptance/rejection of evolution. Thus, for my main project, I want to focus on expanding and improving Wikipedia's evolution content. I first chose "The Struggle for Existence" because the article for this subject is weak and underdeveloped. I want to see this article expanded and written better in order to better connect the idea of the struggle for existence with Darwin, Malthus, and evolution as a whole. Darwin's thoughts on the struggle for existence were influential in the formation of his overall theory of evolution. Thus, expansion and improvement of this article is necessary in telling the complete story of Darwin's findings. Wikipedia's evolutionary content would be benefitted with improvement to this article.
