Sayed Noorullah Murad ... Sayed Noorullah Murad is an Afghan politician, Military commander and member of afghan cabinet during Karzai's presidency. He has born in 22nd March 1969, to Mawlawi Abdul Jalil Faqiri a famous religious and social leader of Afghanistan in Kunduz city of Kunduz province in north of Afghanistan. Murad has migrated to Pakistan after soviet invasion on Afghanistan when he was 15, he accomplished his education in various educational institutions in Pakistan and graduated from University of Peshawar obtaining bachelor degree in journalism and later master degree in international relations, despite this Murad has obtained degree equal to MA in Islamic studies Wifaqul Madares in Multan Pakistan. Murad has followed his father and joines Jamiat e Islami Party during jehad and then started work as special advisor in political and tribal affairs to Ahmad Shah Masoud ( Afghan minister of defens)during 90s, He was promoted to rink of Major General in Afghan national army and has also worked as chief military commander in southern zone of Afghanistan against Taliban. Due to a (miss understanding) Murad was kept in Doab jail in Panjsher province for above one year by Ahmad Shah Masoud and was released in 2001 by Mediation of Younas Qanooni and General Besmillah Muhammadi. After jail he was forced by his father followers to restart his political activities in currant political arena and announced polical pluralistic system, hence adopted a new liberal Political party (DA NEJAT AFGHANI GHORZANG)Afghan Salvation Movement. Murad is also chairing an organization called Islamic Studies Development center(ISDC) to modrenize, madredize and inlight religious sector of Afghanistan and bring it to right direction. He has worked for Afghan Ministry of education year 2001 to 2004 as General director for international relations and NGO's and head of grant managenment unit (GMU). In year 2004 he was promoted as cheif secretary of Independent civil services commission. In July 2005 he was assigned as member of Afghan Federal Cabinet and Deputy Minister for religious affairs and Hajj. And resumed office untill september 2009. during his occupation he introduced several reforms to religious sector of Afghanistan which caused appreciations and opposition from community and government. In 2009 due to the principle differences with running administrative system resigned his position.
