As of May 2022, there are over 5.8 million registered motor vehicles in the country, with motorcycles and tricycles accounting for 60 percent of all registered motor vehicles, followed by utility vehicles at 18 percent, cars and SUVs at 16 percent, and trucks at 3 percent.[1]

Gregorio Araneta Avenue History[edit]

Prior to the creation of Quezon City, the area was then part of the municipality of San Juan del Monte, then part of the province of Rizal.

In 1933, the Rizal provincial government recommended the construction of a road between San Francisco del Monte and San Juan.[3]: 41
