Hello there!, I'm from Catalunya and I usually translate and collaborate in the Catalonian Wikipedia.
Since I have tons of hours due of a medical condition, (neuropathic pain), acquired some years ago because of a road accident, I have tons of hours to collaborate here, translating pages in the three languages I know which are: Català, mother language, Spanish, mother language, and English.
The main topics where I can contribute are:
- Music (range goes from hard rock to extreme metal, something that started when I was young while listening to Scorpions and now on my forties is still my life motive \m/)
- Computer Science (my professional side)
- Astronomy and Astrophysics (hobby, I'm an amateur (more than 10 years of solo nights watching objects and also photographing of deep sky objects as well as nightscapes with the universe as the background)
- Motorcycle world (hobby, that put me on a wheelchair since 2017, but that I still love)
- Anything related to Science (or the list could go on for various pages)
- Awareness of the disability world, changing old terms to modern terms, Wikipedia should be a reflection of this change in the worlds mindset in my humild opinion.
With all that list in mind, I decided to start creating/translating articles that exist in my mother language to the English version so I can contribute to the exchange of knowledge and making it available to more people.
So, feel free to give me opinions, advice, anything will be well received, always with respect.
