Farialima is a quite unique nickname, so if you find a "farialima" anywhere on the internet, it's likely to be me. You can contact me at farialima_at_farialima_dot_net. Faria Lima was a governor of the state of Rio de Janeiro in the 1970s. It is also an highway in the Brazilian state of São Paulo. I simply chose its name because of its uniqueness and nice sounding. It also reminds me of the Abbé Faria, a very interesting personality.

I live between Lyon, France and San Francisco, California, USA. Long ago, I graduated from Ecole Polytechnique, Paris, with a major in Mathematics (algebra and cryptography) and a minor in Economics (with a focus on game theory). I have two post graduate diplomas DEA in Computer Sciences, and Urban Planning. I am fairly knowledgeable on computer sciences, and the software industry, since it has been my professional focus for 20 years. My interests, and edits on Wikipedia, range from politics to sciences, and include art, history, literature.

My main languages are French and English with a good knowledge of German.
