Diedre Wachbrit Braverman is an estate planning attorney and attorney mentor in Westlake Village, California.

Educational Background[edit]

She is a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law, Certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. A graduate of University of California, Irvine, she obtained her J.D. from Stanford Law School, where she was Chair of the Stanford Journal of Law, Business & Finance [1].

Special Needs Planning[edit]

As one of three founders of The Academy of Special Needs Planners [2], the country's largest organization dedicated exclusively to the needs of special needs planning attorneys, Mrs. Braverman co-hosts Special Needs Radio, a national podcast that is hosted on special needs planning attorneys' websites across the country.

A special needs planner herself, Diedre Wachbrit Braverman is a contributing author to the first national treatise: Special Needs Trusts: Planning, Drafting and Administration published by Continuing Education of the Bar of the State of California and the Regents of the University of California. Diedre Braverman, under the name Diedre Wachbrit, contributed two chapters to the reference book, Estate Planning Strategies: Collective Wisdom, Proven Techniques. "Special Needs Planning" and "Probate: Pros and Cons" are the titles of her two chapters in the book, which is available from Amazon and other major booksellers.[6]

Her primary business is an estate planning, trust and probate law firm that focuses on special needs planning and asset protecion: Wachbrit Braverman PC, located in Westlake Village, California.
