I'm from Italy, but I usually access the English Wikipedia because it's more comprehensive. I mostly contribute minor edits, or sometimes respectful comments in talk pages, to improve whatever Wikipedia pages I happen to read, mostly on technical or mathematical topics I'm knowledgeable about. The "Wikipedia Adventure" tutorial seems a good way to learn how to make more serious edits, like adding and reorganizing whole pages.
