Animal Cruelty[edit]
Any acts of neglection or violenve agains animals. Inflincting physical pain, or suffering on an animal.[1]Two categories of animal cruelty can be found: neglect or intentional cruelty. These categories can be found also as a passive and active respectively. Right now all 50 states from the United States have felony animal cruelty provision; animal cruelty is treated as a serious crime and is a Group A felony.[2]
Animal Cruelty synonyms[edit]
Animal cruelty synonyms are animal abuse and animal neglect.[3]
Forms[edit]
Two categories fall down from animal cruelty: active and passive. The passive cruelty can be exemplified in cases of neglect, cruelty is being demostrated as a lack of action rather than the action itself. Oftentimes passive animal cruelty is accidental, born of ignorance. When investigator analyze a case of neglectiong and believes that this typ of case occurred du to ignorance, the investigator may attempt to educate the pet owner, then revisit the situation. The active cruelty is the one were we see the action itself of an active abuse to an animal.[3]

Animals need protection from cold/hot weather, rain and many element while outdoors to guarantee their welfare, well-being and avoid to get them sick.[4]
Starvation[edit]
Starvation is caused by a few elements not only by lack of food, but also by improper food, untreated disease and parasites (like worms).[4]
What we could do about it?[edit][edit]
Organizations like Human Society, are taking action to end animal cruelty, we can all participate and be active in this fight. We can all contribute with the ending of puppy mills,going-fur free, helping captive wild animals, protecting marine wildfire and ending animal cruelty and neglect. We must have present that dogs are not the only ones suffering from animal fighting rings, roosters and hogs suffer from this too. We have a great animal kingdom in this earth and we must preserve it.[5]
