"Bury this lump of crow bait." -- Nick Cave, "The Carny," on Your Funeral, My Trial.

"Don't you know there ain't no devil/ That's just God when He's drunk." -- Tom Waits, "Heartattack and Vine," on Heart Attack and Vine.

"Full of a fifth of Old Crow" -- Tom Waits, again, "Sixteen Shells from a Thirty-Ought-Six," from Rain Dogs.

"As I was walking all alane,
I heard twa corbies making a mane;
The tane unto the t'other say,
'Where sall we gang and dine to-day,
Where sall we gang and dine to-day?'
'In behint yon auld fail dyke,
I wot there lies a new slain knight;
And naebody kens that he lies there,
But his hawk, his honnd, and lady fair,
His hawk, his honnd, and lady fair.'"
Clever and hungry,
the murder keeps watch.

Opinions[edit]

  1. If everything I write on Wikipedia can be reviewed, pretty much forever, then why is there an IRC channel where nothing that I say can be reviewed, ever? Doesn't that make it kind of the opposite of Wikipedia?
  2. If I don't trust you, I won't take your word for it. You have to earn trust by your actions, not demand it with your titles and commands.
  3. If you think I've made a "personal attack," then why are you sticking your big fat person in front of me? You'd be best to keep it hidden.
  4. Crows are smarter than pigs, and pigs are more socially adept than most Wikipedia editors.
  5. Shiny objects are fascinating, and they should be pecked. Honestly, they're begging for it.
  6. That's my bit of tinfoil!
