"I trust wikipedia completely. I am even possibly addicted to it. The best thing is, it will never make assertions. It cannot claim that the sky is blue or that the earth revolves around the sun even if it is true. so instead of saying "the earth revolves around the sun" they would have to say "according to sources x,y and z the earth revolves around the sun". Not only this, it would have to be from a neutral point of view, so would give alternative and previous theories. Some would say that this is a load of bureaucracy, which may be true, but it is a system that works. You always get vandals and trolls, but that is human nature, and that is why there is a collection of hard working admins combating this.

Wikipedia is not a source in itself, but a collection of other sources. In this way, you cannot be mislead unless the general consensus of experts is misleading you altogether. This is why I trust and use wiki." --Chickenfeed9 16:34, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
