Biography[edit]

My name is Canyon Anderson, and I live in Little Falls, Minnesota with my mom, stepfather, and my one brother. I enjoy my piano playing and reading many of the great books that increase my knowledge of the world.

I also have a strange obsession with game shows. After thinking back, I concluded that it all started in my childhood, watching a Nickelodeon game show Legends of the Hidden Temple, and being intrigued by the talking animatronic head of Olmec. This single-handedly sparked an ongoing and current devotion to the genre of television game shows. Among my favorites of the genre include Twenty One, The $25,000 Pyramid, Pitfall, Greed, and Whew!

Along with my list of obsessions, I also devote my life to finding the truth about the paranormal. My family has told me many stories pertaining to experiences with unknown forces, which feeds my need to experience one of those for myself, no matter how frightening or, in the event, harmful.

As for my school life, I am an actor in our local school theatre. However, I began my theatrical romp at age five with my first production, Seuss on the Loose, as a Who of Whoville. I then played minor characters in many other musicals and plays including Godspell, Footloose, and many more. I played my first major role as The Moth in a play version of The Emperor's New Clothes. My mom found it absolutely strange how I could memorize a paragraph of lines (which I had right at the beginning of the play) and how she struggled with her few sentences. Other plays I have performed in were mainly a variety of short plays, but I recently got back to acting after a long hiatus with our school's production of My Fair Lady and in a short one-act based on the life of Amelia Earhart. I hope to perform in our school's next musical, Little Shop of Horrors, which would be my final school musical considering next year will be my senior year. Plays that I would adore doing would be The Rocky Horror Show and Hair.
