This is my resource page where you can find a large selection of the images I've uploaded. These are primarily medical in nature and many are from older textbooks in human anatomy. I also provide a selection of pdfs.

Sobotta's[edit]

Sobotta's Atlas and Textbook and Atlas of Human Anatomy is a brilliant resource from the turn of the last century. The books are still available today, although many of the images have been replaced and renewed. All US prints prior to 1923 are public domain, and all German prints prior to ~1940 are public domain as Johannes Sobotta died in 1945. Unfortunately he was not the sole author of the US-printed version and it is unclear if the later versions are in the public domain.

Thus versions are available with both anglicized latin as well as in proper latin. Anglicized latin is available below in image form.

Sobotta's Textbook and Atlas of Human Anatomy ~1000 plates

This page lists images from Sobotta's Atlas of Human Anatomy uploaded by me to Wikipedia. I have not been able to access all images in adequate quality and these are visible as gray squares.

Volume I (from 1909)[edit]

Volume II (from 1906)[edit]

Volume III (from 1909 and 1911)[edit]

This list is not complete, as several of the images that appear as gray squares are available in double images.

Zuckerkandl[edit]

Emile Zuckerkandl was active in Vienna around the turn of the 20th century and published a number of renown books on anatomy. He died in 1910 and thus all his works are in the public domain. A selection of pdfs are available here:
