Genre warring from North Carolina[edit]

Somebody using IPs from North Carolina has been genre warring on multiple music articles, mostly musicians, bands, songs and albums related to the various heavy metal genres.[1] IPs may geolocate to Raleigh, Goldsboro, Rocky Mount or Lexington, North Carolina.

Another area of disruption is the addition of unreferenced "influences" – lists of bands that have supposedly influenced another band.[2]

The range 2602:306:CDA2:E890:0:0:0:0/64 was used from September 2014 to September 2017. The range Special:Contributions/2606:A000:8C06:AA00:0:0:0:0/64 was used from November 2016 to June 2018, overlapping the first range in time. The range Special:Contributions/2600:1004:B039:E861:0:0:0:0/64 started in July 2018.
