Greets. My name is Mike Heffernan, a high tech professional, photographer, musician and multi-media artist based in Ottawa Canada. My user name "Binary Rhyme" is also my artistic pseudonym, used in my photography, music and writing. I'm no neophyte on-line, having used the Internet extensively 'back in the day' when it was dominated by Telnet, FTP (File Transfer Protocol, the Archie search engine, the Gopher protocol and Veronica (computer) and WAIS (Wide area information server), as well as playing on some very early MUDs. In those days, email addresses had exclaimation points, not commercial at signs in them.
As a semi-pro photographer, I'll be primarily uploading photographs to support the articles here. I'm a member of the RA Photo Club.
That having been said, I started cutting my teeth on Wikipedia fairly recently, and I figure I'm still 'learning the ropes' here. I've started taking a hand at adding my 0.02 on the writing. As I gain confidence, I'm sure I'll feel more comfortable commenting on other's contributions.
