Week 4 Blog:

Evaluating my first article was somewhat of a surprising experience for me. I had expected that the article that I looked at (Animals in space) was going to be very detailed and professional, giving detailed explanations on what happened to these animals, why these animals were sent to space, etc, but I didn't see that. There was a lot of information that I would have expected to see in the article that was just nonexistent. In the "talk" section some other editors explained that some of that is due to that fact that the detailed information has a tendency to be locked behind paywalls in different publications, making it difficult to cite, but I find it hard to believe that something that played such an important part in space history wouldn't be easily available to the general public for free.
