When I saw the page, all I saw written was the info on the 2 familes (Old World and New World, so I thought having Quail be the disambig page, and then splitting the 2 families would be sufficient. I didn't realize there were 400 pages linked to the page, a lot dealing with farm production, hunting, cuisine and the like. We should probably restore the quail page to it's original format (I'd do it but I don't know how). I'll reference the dismbig page above, as well as write some stuff about raising, hunting and using them as food production in the article. Hopefully that should stop any future confusion. Some artists with particularly long discographies split the singles and albums discographies off to separate articles to reduce length, accessible from a dab page. The resulting page is really just a list, even if it is a short one. Consider, if someone says "I like Mercury", you don't know if they mean the planet or the element or the Roman God or the car (or something else entirely). If someone says, "I like the Celine Dion discography, they are probably talking about the entire concept, the collection of both albums and singles. While doing research for the boogaloo style of dance I came across Popular Dance: From Ballroom to Hip-Hop on Google Books. While reading the chronology section, I noticed that the entry for 2007 was copied almost verbatim from what is currently in the Education section of the Hip-hop dance article. I posted a notice here on Wikipedia's mirrors and forks list but I'm not sure if this is the right place since the "mirror" I found was a book and not a website. Where do I post a notice about a book that has copied text from Wikipedia? The reason for this is that the book author has not violated Wikipedia's rights; they have violated the article contributor[s]'[s] rights. Therefore, any one who contributed the text that was copied may be entitled to contact the author and publisher of the infringing work. Either Image or File can be used for images on WP (unless this has been changed recently) so mass changing from one to another does not seem right per stability. My own reading of the stability rules is it covers any formatting change, visible or not, that doesn't improve the article in some way. Well, it turns out that it's not a good task for an autonomous bot because of the many quirks in how pages are formatted, but it is susceptible to script-assisted editing. So I've set up User:R'n'B/birthdeath for testing of a script for this purpose, which you are welcome to try out. (At least at first, I strongly recommend checking the box to "skip pages without suggested changes" at startup.) If so, it then looks to see if any of those birth/death years are missing from the disambiguation page, and tries to insert them in a reasonable place. (This step is the part that is far from perfect and requires close review.) It then displays the suggested changes in the diff panel, and allows you to edit manually in the edit box below. A few added features: (1) if you edit, you can update the diff immediately by clicking on "Show changes"; (2) you can also click on any of the blue-underlined links in the diff display to open the linked article in a new tab, to double-check the dab page's description. The only quibble relates to the meaning of "Guard" for Patrick Henry in 1776. They would be the "elite soldiers" broadly described in the "Governmental and military" section of "Guards". I guess the most famous ever were Napoleon's Old Guard. The kind of dudes it would be scary to have upstairs taking over your bedrooms. The reader at U.S. Constitution would probably be best served to have a link to the Wiki dictionary, but I'm not sure how to do that. Do you know the wiki syntax code? Thanks again.
