Sankashta Kara Ganapathi is a 2018 Indian Kannada language romantic comedy film written and directed by Arjun Kumar S.[2][3] Produced by Rajesh Babu, Faizan Khan, Pramod, Hemanth, and Chaluvaraj, film's music is scored by Ritvik Muralidhar. Likith Shetty, Shruti Goradia feature in lead roles along with Achutha Kumar, Manjunath Hegde, Nagabhushan, Chandu B Gowda playing the supporting characters. Uday leela is the cinematographer of the film under the banner of Dynamite Films.
Plot[edit]
The film begins with Ganapathi drawing cartoon against minister who is unwilling to listen to Kannada activist who are protesting against closing Kannada schools in the state. Unhappy with the profession chosen by his son Sudhakar, Father of Ganapathi shows his disapproval for cartoonist job. Bhushan, childhood friend suggests Ganapathi to market his skills on social media for which Ganapathi shows less interest.
Ganapathi finds job in Newspaper office and for his surprise finds his old college mate Shruti Jaganath working in the same office as sales executive. Ganapathi falls in love with Shruti and takeing advice from his friend, Ganapathi move forward to propose Shruti. Ganapathi in the tensed state gets epilepsy attack and shruti admits him to hospital. recovering from the embarrassment, Ganapathi finds out Shruti is engaged to Raghu. Heartbroken by the news, ganapathi agrees to undergo minor surgery to rectify epilepsy. As a side effect of operation, Ganapathi end up getting Alien Hand syndrome - a rare neurological syndrome. How Ganapathi cope up with the hand unwilling to listen to him and how Ganapathi over comes the problem caused by hand is the end of the story.

The film was shot in 37 days, Mostly in Bengaluru City and duet song was shot at Gandikota, Andhra using Red Epic camera.
