[Possible addition, don't know where to add] In 1974 "One Star" was produced, followed by 1976 "Pro Leather", and in 1984 "Starion". These three models were all known for basketball and basketball performance. [I may place my addition, within the heading Products, the sub heading The Weapon] Around the same time as The Weapon was produced and launched in 1974 "One Star" was made. Followed by "Pro Leather" in 1976, and in 1984 the "Starion". These three models were all known for basketball and basketball performance. https://sneakernews.com/category/converse/

"Converse customized shoes for the New York Renaissance (the "Rens"), the first all-African-American professional basketball team." [My Addition] The shoes were designed to be "Non-Skid" which gave athletes specifically basketball players better grip.https://www.shoepalace.com/blogs/all/the-history-of-converse-s-chuck-taylor-basketball An extra strip of rubber was also eventually added to keep the shoes condition better longer due to constant pivoting this was called the "pivot button".https://www.mrporter.com/en-us/journal/fashion/history-converse-chuck-taylor-all-star-sneaker-icon-1276662

"In November 2015, Charles Bullock, chief administrative judge at the International Trade Commission, preliminarily ruled that several brands Converse filed against were violating Converse's outsole design trademarks, i.e. the pattern on the bottom of the sole of the shoe." [My Addition] The soles of the shoes are designed to allow players to jump or move in all directions. The diamond patter makes this possible. https://www.mrporter.com/en-us/journal/fashion/history-converse-chuck-taylor-all-star-sneaker-icon-1276662

"Starting in July 2008, Converse sent around 180 cease-and-desist letters to over 30 companies that they claimed were violating the Chuck Taylor All Star trademark and selling so-called look-alike sneakers." [My Addition] Converse are high top shoes with eight silver eyelets on both sides , made with rubber and fabric.https://www.encyclopedia.com/fashion/encyclopedias-almanacs-transcripts-and-maps/converse-all-stars

The first picture I added is a more recent collaboration with Converse and Stussy. This picture will allow readers to see how Converse is still expanding on designs and collaborations. The second picture is the bottom of a converse. This shows the tread or the sole of the Converse. Like described in the text the diamond tread pattern is still used today.https://www.encyclopedia.com/fashion/encyclopedias-almanacs-transcripts-and-maps/converse-all-stars

I added two Wikilinks to the article, International Trade Commission and high-top. The high-top link will show and explain what a high top is compared to a normal sneaker. International Trade Commission link, explains what International Trade Commission does, the history and more background and info on the I.T.C.
