About me

Hi. My name is Ali Mirjamali. I was born in Tehran, Iran in 1977 just one year and few months before the revolution. Most of my childhood I remember was during 7 hard years of Iran–Iraq War. Actually I do not forget the day someone told me that the war is going to finish. I was not able to understand the meaning of that sentence at that time. I learnt to ride a bicycle on the same day! I had been raised on a Shia Muslim family among 3 other siblings. Politically I consider myself to be a left-wing democrat.

After attending university for two years, I decided I should drop out to pursue my personal interests. My specialty is in IT field. Some of my friends consider me to be a good programmer.

In addition to English language, I can understand a little bit German. Persian is my mother tong.

Contribution to Wikipedia

I have been using WIKIPEDIA from its early days. Most of my contributions to WIKIPEDIA has been in Persian language. But since I wanted to get more involved, I decided I should create an English profile.
