Hi!

I am Alex from San Jose, CA. I grew up in Germany but have been living in Silicon Valley for the last 29 years. I work in the Software industry here. I have been an avid reader of Wikipedia for years and am starting slowly now to contribute, for now limiting myself to correcting obvious and uncontroversial errors. Eventually I'd like to contribute more; one area I have seen a good potential is the mismatch of content between German- and English-Language pages in Wikipedia.
