The Purple Tape Instrumentals is the third instrumental hip hop album by American rapper and record producer Evidence. It was released on December 9, 2008 through Dirt Class Records with distribution via Traffic Entertainment Group. Production was handled entirely by Evidence himself, except for two tracks: "On Top" produced with Sid Roams, and "Ev N' Al" produced with The Alchemist.
