Banner size[edit]

I'm not involved in WikiProject Buddhism, but I sometimes edit an article to which the {{WikiProject Buddhism}} banner has been added, and it's just huge. We're resisting the urge to put it in a bannershell to conserve Talk page space, because that would have the side-effect of obscuring your Project information, which we'd prefer not to do if there are other options.

Is it possible the Project banner can be made somewhat shorter? In particular, the Guidelines section may not be needed in every article Talk page. / edg ☺ ★ 20:43, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

with

Dharma Wheel (2).svg

File:Dharma Wheel.svg on Commons was originally black and white, but was overwritten by a yellow version in 2008. The black and white version was restored in 2021, and the yellow version moved to File:Dharma Wheel (2).svg, though this had the side effect of changing all current uses of the image without notification. Since the image has been used in this template since 2009 (as the yellow version), the template source should be updated to maintain the appearance it always had.
