Hidden TOC[edit]

This template "hides" or "kidnaps" the Table of Contents of talk pages, e.g. at Talk:Battle of Grunwald. Please remove this "feature" asap.-- Matthead  Discuß   06:01, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Replaced with a plain version from Template:WPBannerMeta to fix the problem. Please be careful when you change the template again. -- Matthead  Discuß   06:19, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine. User:Zscout370 (Return Fire) 06:40, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Template-protected edit request on 29 May 2019[edit]

Because the WikiProject is now inactive, please change the first line of code in this template from:

{{WPBannerMeta

to

{{WPBannerMeta/inactive

My test of the change is in Template:WikiProject Belarus/sandbox.

Thanks! UnitedStatesian (talk) 20:17, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Done As with your previous edit requests to inactive wikiproject talk page banners, this project has been inactive for a year and this has not been contested. Will also add to the inactive wikiproject list. Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 20:02, 30 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Template-protected edit request on 21 October 2019[edit]

Please revert the above change. A country-level assessment templates are one of the most common, but with this one collapsed thousands of Belarus topics now don't show their assessment level on talk pages, ex. Talk:Maladzyechna, Talk:Dokshytsy, Talk:Bykhaw, Talk:Mazyr... . Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 09:15, 21 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If the project is going to be revived then we can of course reactivate the project banner. But otherwise there is little to be gained from showing the project's ratings. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 10:47, 21 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Piotrus: please advise whether you envisage this project becoming active again? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 17:33, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@MSGJ: I expect it will eventually, but when, I am unsure. My point is simply that a collapsed template that shows no assessment is unhelpful. Perhaps this is more of a technicality with how the inactive project banner is displayed, however. If it could be adjusted so that it does not hide the assessment, than this would probably be a better and more global (for all templates) outcome. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:33, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I think it is intentional (and a design feature) that a project banner for an inactive project take up as little space as possible on the page. But anyway I think this is a discussion for a more central page (e.g. Template talk:Inactive WikiProject banner) so I have disabled this request for now. Template Protected Edit Request - Reactivate please[edit]

A group of editors and I are working to reactivate this project. Could you please change the template back to active? Thanks <3 Arianna the First (talk) 01:18, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Arianna the First – I'm notifying editors who've previously expressed an opinion on this issue @UnitedStatesian, Dreamy Jazz, Piotrus, and MSGJ: – it seems to me by the terms expressed under project revival that this project is no longer inactive. However, let us see if there is any other views. Regards, --Goldsztajn (talk) 12:49, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I changed the template to show that the project as inactive as it was uncontested and as that has now changed, the banner should be changed from inactive to active. Dreamy Jazz talk to me | my contributions 13:31, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Done Thanks for the ping; general practice is reactivators get the benefit of the doubt, so I have gone ahead and reactivated it. It will take a bit before the subcats of Category:WikiProject Belarus articles automatically repopulate.UnitedStatesian (talk) 13:33, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, much appreciated! Arianna the First (talk) 13:53, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I support reactivation of this project, and I wish good luck to all involved on behalf of your neighbours form WP:POLAND! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:34, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Template image[edit]

The national emblem of Belarus was modified in 2020 however the template still uses the older version, so this needs to be updated. Mellk (talk) 22:13, 1 June 2021 (UTC) [[File:Coat of arms of Belarus (2020).svg|thumb|120px|2020 version.]][reply]
