What on earth is this template supposed to indicate? 81.142.107.230 (talk) 13:18, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It pertains to the sense of taste. Y'know, what we use our tongues for? DS (talk) 14:34, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
"M: TST"? "anat, phys"? "sysi"? This is meaningless to a mere mortal like me. Can it be deobfuscated a teensy bit? 81.142.107.230 (talk) 10:49, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
"M: TST" = link to a navigation box about "Medical" subjects: specifically, the sense of "taste". "Anat" = leads to the template about the "anatomy" of the gustatory system (that is, taste). "Phys" leads to the template about taste in general. "sysi" leads to the template about senses and the mind. DS (talk) 16:29, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes...... it's all very well you explaining it here, but the template itself could be more self-explanatory. How about changing "Anat" to "Anatomy of taste" etc? 81.142.107.230 (talk) 11:36, 24 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, DS and 81.142.107.230, that took a while before it got picked up. As you can see, this template is still in dire need of improvement. It's barely usable right now, as ip was very right to point out. There's a discussion about this here and you can find the proposed new version here. If you want to contribute before the improved version goes live, please to so on these pages. PizzaMan (♨♨) 12:20, 28 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
