Why does this exist?[edit]

Why did we split this off from Template:Press? --Explodicle (T/C) 20:21, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No idea, but having one template for a single entry and a separate template for multiple entries is fairly common (and silly IMHO) around Wikipedia, i.e. {{oldafdmulti}}. --Bobblehead (rants) 21:22, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Silly only if you mean that we shouldn't have templates for single items, since it makes sense just to merge those into the multi-item templates. But if you want to see multiple one-item boxes, then that's pretty silly. Gary King (talk) 19:23, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think the former was meant, and I agree with that, modulo any technical issue with having unified templates that I might not be aware of. --LjL (talk) 19:26, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
