Is the discography necessary?[edit]

I'm a fan of Pop Will Eat Itself, but I don't think that the template in its current form is very useful. By my count, the temple contains nearly 50 links to various PWEI-related pages, only five of which are blue links. The discography section in particular is huge and doesn't contain any working PWEI-specific links. Would anyone mind if I removed the whole discography section? It can get added back as pages for the albums are created, but for the time being it isn't serving any navigational purpose. - Rynne 18:49, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, when I created the template, the point was to outline a framework for the articles that needed to be created for the Poppies. I felt that they had such a rich catalog, and pretty much the only content on them in WP was the main band article. I was hoping that editors would step in and start creating some of the articles. I mean, there's not much point in having a template to link related articles together if there's only one article. I was planning on creating some of the articles myself, but it's a matter of time, plus the fact that all the CD's I need for reference are temporarily in storage for a few weeks, while I move my residence. We do need some sort of model to follow for the articles too. So, rather than deleting the discography, why don't you go ahead and create an article or two and give us a starting point?  Tabanger  00:02, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
