Diameter[edit]

Surely the option should be "diameter" or "height and width" GraemeLeggett 12:07, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. I'll add these parameters to the template. - Emt147 Burninate! 17:23, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reference field[edit]

I'd like to see a |ref= field added much like the one in the [[Template:Aircraft specifications]]. So far I have been adding subscript tags to make them look similar. --Colputt 17:12, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I second that. GraemeLeggett (talk) 15:19, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Added. - Emt147 Burninate! 22:50, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Designer[edit]

designer appears at the end of General

Propellor reduction gear[edit]

reduction_gear appears at the end of Components

Others[edit]

Params of general_other, components_other & performance_other add list items to each section. These can be used to describe unusual parameters, but within each section.

h3 tags[edit]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rolls-Royce_Vulture looks ugly in IE8, because of (I guess) missing closing </h3> tags in this template. Are they removed for some reason? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.188.7.2 (talk) 18:19, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, an editor broke the template at that article, I have fixed it. Nimbus (Cumulus nimbus floats by) 19:13, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

TBO[edit]

TBO (Time Before Overhaul) is one of the most important aspect of any aircraft engine. It tells a hole lot about the quality of the engine, but also is a main parameter regarding operational cost. Some engines for experimental aircraft do not have a TBO, they go "on condition". Other engines have TBR (Time Before Replacement) because most of the engines has to be replaced anyway or because it will be uneconomical to overhaul. TBO and TBR should be default parameters in the template in mine opinion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SvingenB (talkcontribs) 10:53, 17 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can this be done?
