Purple or Gold?[edit]

The party shading template is using a light shade of purple (#B3B3FF), but the Party color module uses a shade of gold (#FFC14E) and on a number of Alaska election articles it's just been coded as "gold" (#FFD700). Given that changing {{Party shading/Alaskan Independence}} is likely to provide more consistency, is there any objection to using #FFC14E (or the slightly lighter #FFDB99) here instead?

current shade of light purple (#B3B3FF)
party color module shade of gold (#FFC14E)
gold used in some articles (#FFD700)
proposed lighter shade of gold (#FFDB99)
