Template-protected edit request on 19 April 2019[edit]

Please replace with the current version of the sandbox (diff). This improves the method by which the existence of a third parameter is checked by testing if it exists, rather than if it exists testing if it equals itself (true) and if it doesn't exist testing if "a" equals "b" (false). The end result is that if someone did {{oldid2|123456789|External links|}} the "external links" would be interpreted as the label rather than the section. I don't know much about where this is used, is that likely to be true throughout? ~ Amory (utc) 10:15, 19 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Deactivating request pending answer from DannyS712. -- Cabayi (talk) 12:27, 19 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Amorymeltzer: As far as I can tell this is only true when the label is set to an empty string. I also don't know much about where this is used, but I have seen it used a few times and when there was a label set, it was never an empty string. --DannyS712 (talk) 16:27, 19 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
