URL[edit]

I have changed the URL to http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/reports/index.cfm?fuseaction=summary&id={{{1}}}. This provides a more direct link to the Ofsted details on the school and avoids the need for the search function to be used on the Ofsted website. - Erebus555 (talk) 16:10, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Anchor text[edit]

It's great to have a template for this, but often one wants a different anchor text, e.g. just the Ofsted number in space-confined locations such as tables, or a more readable text like Ofsted details for the Winnie the Pooh School. Kanguole (talk) 10:49, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

URL[edit]

There appears to be no way of accessing when the URL is for example http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/oxcare_providers/full/(urn)/SC001530 Does any one know when edu is replaced by care and if this can be coded into the template? Keith D (talk) 14:22, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In this case Ofsted inspects only the boarding provision, not the education, which is inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate.[1] I don't think it makes sense to use the Ofsted field of template:infobox UK school for the boarding inspection, but that template should do something better for ISI reports. Needs update?[edit]

I've just tried to use this template for the first time, in Silverdale, Lancashire, but failed (so abandoned my changes).

{{ofsted|119541}} (Ofsted details for unique reference number 119541) leads to a page not found at http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/oxedu_providers/full/%28urn%29/119541. The school's reports are at http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/inspection-reports/find-inspection-report/provider/ELS/119541. Have Ofsted revised their website since the template was created?
