Counting yellow cards[edit]

With wc2018 FIFA started to exclude second yellow cards from counting towards the total amount of yellow cards. The current data on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_FIFA_World_Cup_disciplinary_record respects FIFAs way of counting yellow cards. However, this way of counting is in contrast to other football competitions and I feel like it is also in contrast to how people in general will count cards. Hence FIFAs new way of counting creates confusion. We should have a template sets a standard for how to count yellow cards, or a template that includes different ways of counting cards. As of now the readers are left uninformed of the different ways of counting. Any suggestions? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tryingtohelpalittle (talkcontribs) 10:42, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
