Pre-TV era World Series[edit]

We need to make adjustments for pre-TV era World Series. Some Series will have radio, and some Series will have no TV or radio. Kingturtle (talk) 16:02, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

needs more #if: statements[edit]

Wknight94 has cleared up the MVP issue with an #if: statement. I don't know the syntax well enough to make the same changes to Television, TV announcers, Radio network, radio announcers, American League Championship Series, National League Championship Series. Can someone please help? Kingturtle (talk) 21:59, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've merged what i did for zh version. now mvp, television, announcers, radio_network, radio_announcers, alcs, nlcs (7) fields are optional and won't displayed. Hope this helps --NullSpace (talk) 12:36, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Players[edit]

Should we really only list hall of famers? That means that we can't list Pete Rose on the 1975 and 1976 Reds and the 1980 Phillies, or Joe Jackson on the 1917 and 1919 White Sox. It also means we can't list any players for any World Series since 2003 - and, in fact, seem to have none since Tony Gwynn in 1998. If we don't want to muff up the infobox, we could have a roster list as part of the page - each team's roster (especially starters) would be very helpful, I think, especially since we have articles on a vast number of non-Hall of Fame ballplayers. john k (talk) 14:52, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Link to next World Series[edit]

Regarding this edit: note for all series other than the current one, the link in question links to the next World Series. Only for the current year this may redirect to the next season article, if a redirect has been created from the World Series article, but this will be resolved once the actual World Series article is created. Note there is a discussion on this at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Baseball/Archive 42#World Series infobox isaacl (talk) 16:18, 28 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Scores[edit]

Is there a reason that scores of the games are not included in this? For example see {{Infobox Stanley Cup Finals}}. --Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 22:18, 31 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
