Multiple Positions?[edit]

I am currently improving the article on Chalom Messas, who was the Chief Rabbi of Morocco from 1961 until 1978, when he made aliyah to become the Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem. I want to add an infobox to the page, and so I found this template, but I have a question about the began / ended and predecessor / successor fields. Since this prominent person had more than one important position, as do many famous people, how are these fields meant to be used in such a context? In fact, most Rabbis I know, even non-notable ones, have served in more than one position, and thus have multiple predecessors / successors. Please advise, preferably on my Talk page. Thanks. --Eliyahu S Talk 00:58, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
