Add a link to the characters page?[edit]

Can we put a link to Fruits Basket characters somewhere on the template? I don't like having to go to the main page in order to get to the characters page. Raven23 13:40, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It does need one, yes -- I find it just as annoying. The suite of Fruits Basket articles are currently being rennovated, with several pages up for merging, plus some new ones being created. After the dust settles the template needs to be revised, to include this. —Quasirandom (talk) 20:29, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Seconded. :) AnmaFinotera (talk) 20:33, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There, an interim revision, including the various lists. Once the character merges do (or don't) happen, we can rearrange those links. (And fix the wonky centered formatting -- I'm apparently not as up on wikitables as I thought, as I can't figure out how to left-align things.) —Quasirandom (talk) 16:36, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also, we should consider renaming this, now that its scope is larger. —Quasirandom (talk) 16:39, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

More cleanup[edit]

A) Good move -- I was going to bring this up after the latest round of character merges, but life has been lifelike for me lately.

2) Should all the characters be listed? As it is, it pretty much acts like a TOC for the list of characters, which has its own TOC. The only characters with individual articles now are Tohru, Yuki, Kyo, Shigure, and Akito.

Just a thought. —Quasirandom (talk) 19:16, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I wasn't 100% sure if I should go ahead with the move, but I decided to be bold. As far as the charactes are concerned, this is something I have trouble with. I usually leave character links alone, except for bypassing redirects and adding missing links to separate pages. —Dinoguy1000 19:28, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe AnmaFinotera and others will be by and be more decisive than we. —Quasirandom (talk) 19:37, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
How odd...I have this on my watch list but didn't see any of the recent activity. I totally support the move clean up (thanks Dino). For the characters, I don't think those in the list really need listing at all. I'd be inclined to leave links for those who have kept their individual articles, and maybe link to the list with something like "full character list" or the like. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 03:22, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That's my inclination, too. (Maybe the template move confused your watchlist?) —Quasirandom (talk) 14:23, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That sounds fair... If it's not already done, I'll get to it in a second. On a related note, have a look at Template:Code Geass. Yes, all those link to seperate pages. Scary, right? —Dinoguy1000 16:21, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
~runs away in terror~ ;-) Yep...we gotta finish getting that clean up task force done. I should get to adding my thoughts there. :P -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 16:25, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I foresee a lot of merges in someone's future. Or someones'.... —Quasirandom (talk) 16:55, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That's not the worst of it. Several of those links have been added in just the past few days, which means there may be some friction when cleanup starts. *shudders* —Dinoguy1000 17:30, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
