Link to deleted portal removed[edit]

The El Paso, Texas portal was recently deleted. I've removed the red link from the template. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 12:24, 3 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

School districts and the city limits[edit]

@Thesofine: Hi! I'm not sure why the other school districts were removed. In Texas, city boundaries and school districts are separate things, and multiple school districts serve the City of El Paso.

This map of El Paso County school districts from the US Census Bureau shows the situation. It would be unfair to other parts of the City of El Paso to exclude the non-EPISD parts of the city. The template needs to reflect the whole city limits.

Additionally Wikipedia:Navigation_template states "Red links should normally be avoided unless they are very likely to be developed into articles." And the average middle and elementary school is unlikely to be developed into an article. I am therefore removing the redlinks of EPISD campuses.
