Font colour off[edit]

Is there a way to turn the font colour back to default instead of green/red? Mattximus (talk) 20:41, 23 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You mean back to black? Jimp 05:21, 25 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I was just thinking of people with colour blindness, but it's ok as it is, since there is a clear + and - indicating the direction of change, the colour doesn't really matter. Mattximus (talk) 12:47, 25 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. There is something in the MOS about this as I recall but, yeah, the "+" and "−" sort it out. Jimp 00:26, 26 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Possible to add a citation to one of the initial values?[edit]

Would this be possible? As of now, it just adds it to the percent change column, and it is impossible to add it to the first two columns. Mattximus (talk) 23:38, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

DOne. Jimp 05:20, 25 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! This is perfect. Mattximus (talk) 12:47, 25 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. Jimp 00:27, 26 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

When using |disp=out, |rowspan=2 seems to fail[edit]

  • Excerpt of the example: the two rows are still separated
Region change
Acmevale North −20.00%
Acmevale South
Homeport +9%

Template:Change/error[edit]

@Frietjes: {{change/error}} was deleted because it was an unexplained empty page. It has been restored. I suggested here that the template might be a substitute for a tracking category. If an alternative does not appeal, perhaps an explanation could be put on change/error. Johnuniq (talk) 06:04, 19 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Johnuniq, we possibly could use a tracking category instead. it is intended to mimic the function of the old templates like Template:Change/rowIonSoff. having the module add say Category:Pages using change with invalid input would probably work as well. Frietjes (talk) 12:50, 19 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It seems a shame to create yet another tracking category: who is going to monitor it? Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Change/error shows only a handful of pages. For example, List of cities in Uruguay has a missing number for the "Ciudad del Plata" entry so it displays NA. Perhaps that is good enough so no tracking is required? Or, make the module give a run-time error briefly describing the problem? Then the page would be found by those of us who monitor Category:Pages with script errors. 1st cell inherits formats from row, but not the others[edit]

See here, for instance. A solution to this may simply be a matter of separating outputs by || instead of \n|.

Does not seem to work with visual editor[edit]

When trying to use this template with visual editor on a table, the source edit will show up rather than properly working with the table. Unless I am doing something wrong? - Hij802

Parameter to turn of % suffix[edit]

For the percentage output, would someone please add a parameter to give only the raw numerical output of the percent change? For instance, |unit= in which the default is "on" but will hide the percentage suffix when set to "off"? This would prevent redundant use of the percentage unit in columns that have "Change (%)" in the heading, like at List of municipalities in Alberta#List of urban municipalities.
