Stray space?[edit]

Why does this template have a stray space? If I try to write:

The phrase is used in the [[Book of Exodus]] during Moses' vision of the [[burning bush]] ({{bibleref2-nb|Exod|3:1–22}}).

I get a stray space after the opening bracket:

The phrase is used in the Book of Exodus during Moses' vision of the burning bush ( 3:1–22).
